For his dedicated and consistent service to the cause of art as well as to the society through art, Artist Murli Lahoti has been conferred with many felicitations and awards. The important ones are National Lalit Kala Academy, National Award, (1993) the most honoured award of the field at the hands of the Vice President of India, F.I.E Foundation Award (1991) at the hands of Prime Minister of India, the National Outstanding Personality Award by Rotary Club and other national and international institutions.
